VITAMIN B1

Veterinary Use – Injectable

Vitamin B1 is a drug of choice for the treatment of hypo and avitaminosis type B1, either on its dosage, or its stability.

INDICATION

Polyneuritis, which can be described as poisoning caused by excessive accumulation of pyruvate in the blood and tissues is caused by deficiency of vitamin B1. In polyneuritics states of animals the first symptom of this deficiency is the anorexia, a result of increased sugar in the blood, which can not be metabolized. In general, the lack of vitamin B1 in animals causes the following symptoms: anorexia, fatigue, weight loss, and burning sensation in the soles.

FORMULA

Each 2 ml contains:
Vitamin B1 …………………………….. 2G
Vehicle buffered q.s.p …………. 20ml

HOW TO USE

Route of administration : Intramuscular .
Equines and bovines ( Larger size ) – 3 to 5 ml daily for 5 to 10 consecutive days.
Foals, calves and lambs ( Midsize ) – 1 to 2 ml daily for 5-10 consecutive days.
Dogs and Cats ( Small size ) – 0.5 ml to 1 ml daily for 5 to 10 consecutive days.
Changes in the way to use at the discretion of the veterinarian.

Bottle of 20 ml

Store in a dry, cool site protected from the sunlight and away from children.

Cattle, swine and horses: Slaughter – zero deficiency..
Cattle: Milk – zero deficiency.
