{"id":7894,"date":"2023-11-07T15:13:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-07T18:13:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sub.labovet.com.br\/?post_type=blog-grandes-animais&#038;p=7894"},"modified":"2024-11-30T12:11:28","modified_gmt":"2024-11-30T15:11:28","slug":"botulismo-intoxicacao-que-mata-rebanhos","status":"publish","type":"blog-grandes-animais","link":"https:\/\/labovet.com.br\/en\/blog-grandes-animais\/botulismo-intoxicacao-que-mata-rebanhos","title":{"rendered":"BOTULISMO: INTOXICA\u00c7\u00c3O QUE MATA REBANHOS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A doen\u00e7a \u00e9 uma intoxica\u00e7\u00e3o espec\u00edfica causada pela ingest\u00e3o de <strong>\u00e1gua e alimentos contaminados<\/strong> com as toxinas <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ou <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0da bact\u00e9ria <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Clostridium botulinum<\/strong>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por ser <strong>altamente letal,<\/strong> acima de tudo, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio adotar na propriedade medidas preventivas na alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, sanidade e realizar a imuniza\u00e7\u00e3o do rebanho.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saiba mais e continue a leitura.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ALGUMAS CURIOSIDADES SOBRE O BOTULISMO QUE VOC\u00ca N\u00c3O\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SABIA<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aqui est\u00e3o algumas curiosidades sobre o<strong> Botulismo,<\/strong> intoxica\u00e7\u00e3o que mata rebanhos, que voc\u00ea n\u00e3o sabia:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O primeiro caso de Botulismo no Brasil foi identificado na<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/repositorio.ufmg.br\/bitstream\/1843\/SMOC-9FVM6Y\/1\/monografia_entregue_final_fev_2011.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> d\u00e9cada de 70<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, no estado do Piau\u00ed, em animais que apresentavam \u201cm\u00e3o dura\u201d e assim, era denominada a doen\u00e7a na \u00e9poca.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No ambiente, a <strong>bact\u00e9ria \u00e9 encontrada\u00a0 na forma de esporos.<\/strong> Na presen\u00e7a de mat\u00e9ria org\u00e2nica e condi\u00e7\u00f5es de anaerobiose, ou seja, sem a presen\u00e7a de oxigena\u00e7\u00e3o, estes germinam e multiplicam-se, produzindo a <strong>toxina botul\u00ednica.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CASOS MAIS RECENTES DE BOTULISMO ANIMAL<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Um dos casos mais recentes de botulismo animal, intoxica\u00e7\u00e3o alimentar que <strong>mata rebanhos,\u00a0<\/strong> em quest\u00e3o de gravidade e propor\u00e7\u00e3o, foi o de 2017.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Infelizmente, o produtor perdeu cerca de <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/g1.globo.com\/economia\/agronegocios\/globo-rural\/noticia\/2017\/08\/exames-confirmam-que-botulismo-e-causa-da-morte-de-mil-animais.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>1,7 mil cabe\u00e7as de gado,<\/strong> <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o que gerou um preju\u00edzo de dois milh\u00f5es de reais,\u00a0 em Mato Grosso do Sul.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Todos os gados morreram ap\u00f3s comerem ra\u00e7\u00e3o contaminada pela toxina botul\u00ednica. Os animais foram encontrados deitados, paralisados e posteriormente,<strong> todos morreram devido \u00e0 uma parada respirat\u00f3ria.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A seguir, ser\u00e3o citadas as principais manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es cl\u00ednicas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MANIFESTA\u00c7\u00d5ES CL\u00cdNICAS DO BOTULISMO<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ap\u00f3s ter contra\u00eddo a doen\u00e7a, <strong>o rebanho<\/strong> passa a apresentar manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es cl\u00ednicas do Botulismo, tais como:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A toxina atinge o sistema nervoso, acarretando em paralisia muscular progressiva, iniciando nos membros posteriores. Sendo assim, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o animal tem <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/labovet.com.br\/en\/blog-grandes-animais\/botulismo-bovino-entenda\"><b>dificuldade de levantar<\/b><\/a><b> e caminhar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al\u00e9m disso, passa por dificuldade respirat\u00f3ria, <strong>dificuldade de locomo\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, mastiga\u00e7\u00e3o e degluti\u00e7\u00e3o.
