Dexamethasone<\/strong> is a corticosteroid anti-inflammatory<\/strong> medication of injectable use with antiphlogistic and antiallergic<\/strong> action, for cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats<\/strong> use.<\/p>\n

INDICATIONS<\/h2>\n

As anti- inflammatory<\/strong>, it is indicated in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis, polyarthritis<\/strong> and other joint, muscle or nerve pain syndromes<\/strong>. As anti- allergic<\/strong>, it is indicated in allergic diseases, itching associated with skin diseases, eczema non-specific and anaphylactic states. By its glucogenic effect it is indicated in bovine<\/strong> ketosis, state of shock, blood poisoning and circulatory crisis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

FORMULA<\/h2>\n

Each 10 ml contains:<\/strong>
\nDexamethasone acetate ……………………… 20 mg
\nAqueous vehicle qs ……………………………… 10 ml<\/p>\n

HOW TO USE<\/h2>\n

It can be administered by intramuscular, intraarticular or periarticular.<\/strong>
\nCattle and Equine adults<\/strong> – 2.5 mg to 5 mg for 100kg\/PV (1,25mL to 2.5 mL of product per every 100 kg body weight).
\nFoals, Sheep, Goats, Pigs and Calves<\/strong> – 0.50mg to 1.0mg to 10kg\/PV (0.25 mL to 0.5 mL of product per 10 kg body weight).
\nDogs and Cats<\/strong> – 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg to 5 kg\/PV (0,125mL to 0.25 mL product for every 5 kg of body weight).
\nChanges in the way to use at the discretion of the veterinarian.<\/p>\n

CONTRAINDICATIONS<\/h2>\n

Do not use in viral infections<\/strong>, animals with tuberculosis, chronic nephritis, peptic and cornea ulcers, and females with advanced state of pregnancy.<\/p>\n
