PLATINOSOMIASIS: APPROACH IN FELINE CLINIC

Platinosomiasis or platinosomiasis, also known as gecko disease, is a parasitic disease caused by a trematode of the genus Platynosomum sp., which can be found in bile ducts and gallbladder of infected domestic cats. This parasite is commonly found in regions with tropical and subtropical climates (NORSWORTHY, 2011).
