It is an antimicrobial indicated for mastitis treatment and prophylaxis.
It is indicated for mastitis treatment of cows during lactation, also acting on catarrhal mastitis, from one of the following etiologies: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptpcoccus agalictiae, Streptococcus uberis, Enterococcus, Corynebacterium bovis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas and Proteus.
After complete milking of all teats and udder cleaning with the usual disinfectant, which must be compatible with Mastilac, inject all the content of one syringe in each teat. Then, massage it softly, from the bottom up to spread the product. The product must be applied for at least 3 days, or until complete healing which generaly occurs within 5 days.

Package with 12 syringes of 10 g and intramammary kennel.
During and after the treatment with MASTILAC, milk normally and as often as needed to force the fibrin clots to leave, which prevents clogging of the galactophorous canal.
Treated animals’ milk can only be intended for human consumption 1 day after applying the product.
In animals that have had mastitis or animals with subclinical mastitis at an advanced stage, MASTILAC, due to its proteolytic properties, will cause the release of part of the fibrin mass which is partially on the gland, as well as red blood cells.
