Clostridium are bacterial diseases caused by various species of Clostridium and their toxins. They usually occur with high lethality rates, causing significant economic losses in livestock. In this review, we will address in more detail Bacillary Hemoglobinuria (HB), an endemic disease in the southern region of Rio Grande do Sul (RS).
