EQUINE INFECTIOUS ADENITIS

Equine infectious adenitis is a disease of great importance in equine farming due to economic losses, and is considered the disease of the respiratory tract of horses, responsible for 30% of notifications in the world. The pathogen responsible for this disease is the bacterium Streptococcus equi, which affects the upper respiratory system of horses of all ages, with a higher prevalence in animals under 2 years of age.
