It is a therapeutic antianaemic product used in the preventive and curative treatment of iron deficiency anemia. It contains vitamin B12, an essencial compound for erythrocytes (RBCs) maturation, which makes it very efficient in the treatment of macrocytic and pernicious anemia.
Preventive and curative treatment of iron deficiency anemia in calves, especially newborn piglets, raised under confinement without access to dirt. Anemia treatment in other animals every time there is bleeding due to worms, infectious anemias, anaplasmosis, metrorrhagia, birth or surgery.
Each 100 mL contains:
Iron Dextra (containing55 mg Fe) ……………………………………………… 30 g
Vitamin B12 ……………………………………………………………………. 1.000 mcg
Phenol ……………………………………………………………………………………. 0,5 g
Distilled water q.s.p………………………………………………………………. 100 mL
Shake the flask before using. Intramuscularly, slowly inject with appropriate needles, preferably on the muscles of the neck. Do not massage the area.
Piglets 3 to 5 days old: 2 mL
Calves: 8 to 12 mL
Young dogs: 0,25 mL to 0,50 mL.
In piglets one single dose is enough to prevent or cure iron deficiency anemia.
Change in the dosage at the veterinarian’s discretion.
Bottles of 10 mL, 20 mL, 50 mL and 100 mL
Bovines and pigs: Abatement – zero deficiency.
Bovines: Milk – zero deficiency
