Veterinary Use – Oral
It is a product based on silicon and methyl cellulose, indicated for rumen treatment, acute or chronic meteorism or tympanism, and all forms of indigestion in bovines, sheep, goats, and echinacea of equine cecum.
The tympany (excess) of the rumen is represented by an excessive accumulation of gas from the rumen of cattle, sheep, goats and pigs due to a change of fermentation phenomena that are part of the normal processes of digestion of these animals. The formation of these gases is not normal, leading to an excess thereof in umem reticulum and in the form of foam and small and medium-sized bubbles.
The distension of the rumen is accompanied by the opening of the esophagus spasms, and also causes paralysis of the muscles of the rumen. This hinders the expulsion of excess gases. Studies have found that the substances that can lower surface tension of the contents of the rumen, undoing the bubbles and foam, can in a short time improve local conditions, thereby eliminating the bloating.
